Greetings,
For the first time since President Trump took office, there are genuine concerns that his economic policies and aggressive tariffs may trigger a recession. These worries sparked a broad stock selloff, sending nearly the entire market into the red. Tech companies fared particularly poorly, as investors fear their lofty valuations might not hold up if the economy contracts. But, many top tech executives remain supportive of the Trump presidency, pointing to potential benefits from his agenda—such as deregulation and tax incentives—as sources of optimism.
Some industry observers note that a Trump-endorsed return-to-work movement could bolster the commercial real estate sector, which may in turn benefit the PropTech industry as it recovers from a challenging 2024.
Today, we will discuss workplace design technology, focusing on how offices are being created with AI/human collaboration in mind.
Let’s go!

Overheard
Everyone has heard the news by now. Rocket is acquiring Redfin. It's obviously a huge deal.
I took some time to read about it, listen to the webcast, and thumb through the financials from both companies.
It boils down to Rocket wanting/needing a big boost in home purchase… x.com/i/web/status/1…
