Video Surveillance Technology

Greetings,
AI has been the talk of the real estate tech world, and for good reason. But another technology is emerging that could change the way that properties think about energy resilience. A number of new startups are working on micro nuclear reactors that can be transported to where they are needed to provide clean, consistent power. If nuclear power becomes available to properties, especially those in remote locations, it could give buildings more options for how they procure their energy.
This week we are talking about video security, in partnership with Kastle. Video cameras have long been used as a way to prevent and prosecute crime. But now, thanks to AI, they are being deployed for much more. Computer vision is turning security cameras into analysts that can help building owners and occupiers understand how to make spaces more efficient and employees more productive.
