Greetings,

The big buzz in PropTech news this week was around WeWork founder Adam Neumann’s new venture, Flow, the co-living company he describes as a “consumer-facing residential brand.” Flow has just secured a fresh $100 million in funding from venture investors like a16z. Little is known about what exactly the brand will become. Neumann has hinted at on-site co-working spaces, similar to his former company WeWork. An unclear product strategy hasn’t deterred investors, who continue to pour money into the venture. Now valued at $2.5 billion, Flow’s new cash infusion ensures this won’t be the last we hear about Neumann’s grand plan to change how people interact with the buildings they live in.

This week, in partnership with Avigilon, we’re exploring security technology. Virtual reality is transforming building safety training through realistic simulations that boost learning, confidence, and emergency readiness. Plus, AI is reshaping property management by increasing efficiency, but true progress comes from combining its speed with human judgment to handle complex decisions and create safer, smarter buildings.

Let’s go!
